A fair dispute process
A clear brief and honest feedback should lead to a clear outcome.
Disputing a rating
Game creators and playtesters may dispute any rating they received, including an older rating, from Ratings & disputes in their profile or the Dispute this rating action on a review. Explain why you dislike it or think it is unfair. The concern is reviewed by an administrator; opening a case does not automatically remove the rating or change a completed playtest, reward, transfer, or payout. The rating remains visible with an under-review label. An independent administrator may keep it or remove it from public reputation, recording a reason and notifying both participants. The original review and decision are retained. One case is allowed per rating; contact support with new evidence after a decision.
Before a dispute
Creators may request one specific correction tied to the original brief during the seven-day review period. Testers have seven days to respond. Neither side can unilaterally cancel submitted work.
Opening a dispute
A participant may raise a dispute from the session before the active review or correction deadline. Explain the issue and refer to the original brief. Automatic approval and reward release pause while the dispute is open.
Administrator review
An authorized administrator reviews the original brief, written feedback, correction, and dispute notes. They record a reasoned approval or rejection in the audit history. Approval releases the reward; rejection releases the reservation for the creator’s remaining listing budget or refund.
Unacceptable reasons
A tester is entitled to an honest opinion. A low game rating, constructive criticism, or feedback the creator dislikes is not on its own evidence that the brief was not completed. Fraudulent or fabricated work can be rejected after review.
